CITY CLERK City Clerk Catherine Buck has been an employee of the City of Walled Lake since 1997. She began her career with the City as an Administrative Secretary to the City Manager and on May 1, 2000 was appointed to the position of City Clerk by Council. She is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks and the Oakland County Clerks’ Association. Cathy currently serves as the Treasurer of the Oakland County Clerk's Association. In February, 2002 Cathy earned her designation of Certified Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. In addition to performing the normal duties of a City Clerk, she serves as Office Manager, in charge of the supervision of a six member clerical staff.
SANDRA CROCKER DEPUTY CLERK Sandra Crocker has been an employee of the City of Walled Lake since 1989. The City Council appointed her Deputy City Clerk on March 20, 2001. She is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, the Oakland County Clerks’ Association and the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association. She graduated summa cum laude from Oakland Community College and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is currently attending the Clerk’s Institute to complete requirements for the Certified Municipal Clerk certification. Her primary duties are the bi-annual City newsletter, voter registration and support to the City Clerk’s office. She is married, the mother of two adult children and the proud grandmother of Alexis and Nathan. |
